* La nuova creazione di Brian Eno: Brian Eno’s ‘Turntable’. It seamlessly phases through combinations of seductive self-generated ‘colourscapes’ using a series of interwoven LED lights. By extending temporal boundaries with a work that seemingly has no beginning or end, no finality, Eno ‘encourages people to stay in one place for a while. If a painting is hanging on a wall we don’t feel that we’re missing something by not paying attention to it. Yet with music and video, we still have the expectation of some kind of drama. My music and videos do change, but they change slowly. And they change in such a way that it doesn’t matter if you miss a bit’. Brian Eno ‘Turntable’, 2021
acrylic, LED lights. Edition of 50″.

* Una raccolta fondi aperta su Kickstarter dal filmmaker Tom J. Stern per realizzare un documentario sui leggendari The Butthole Surfers che segue da “vicino” dal 1986. “Through exhaustive interviews, archival footage, cutting-edge animation and graphics, surreal re-enactments, and more, we will make a film in the anarchic spirit of the band. It will be irreverent and funny, but also sincere and heartfelt at times as we get these post-punk rock legends to look back on their strange and extraordinary lives. This won’t be a hagiography. We will dive into it all: Sex, drugs, rock and roll, the beautiful, the ugly, and the weird”.

* “One Night Only”. Adele in concerto nella suggestiva location del Griffith Observatory di Los Angeles. In mezzo anche l’intervista di Oprah Winfrey. A lei la copertina.
