Muore il figlio di Nick Cave

“Our son Arthur died on Tuesday evening. He was our beautiful, happy loving boy. We ask that we be given the privacy our family needs to grieve at this difficult time”.

Singer Nick Cave’s son has died after falling off a cliff last night, police have announced today. Emergency services were called to Ovingdean Gap in Brighton, East Sussex, after the 15-year-old son of the Bad Seeds singer was found with life-threatening injuries. The teenager, who has twin called Earle, fell from the top of the 60ft path onto a coastal path below. He was airlifted to hospital after the accident at around 6pm yesterday but died a short time later. Sussex Police believe the death was a tragic accident rather than a deliberate fall.

Un portavoce della polizia del Sussex racconta: “A 15-year-old boy who was found with life threatening injuries on the underpass of Ovingdean Gap, having fallen from the cliff above, has sadly died in hospital. Members of the public carried out first aid on the boy before he was taken to hospital just after 6pm. He later died there of his injuries. The death is being dealt by the coroner’s officer”.

Arthur compare anche nel film “20,000 Days on Earth”.

Il miglior amico di Arthur, il 15enne Edward Bucknall ha raccontato: “He was a really kind and loving boy. You could have a good laugh with him. He was really caring. His dad called my mum and let us know what happened at about one o’clock this morning. We’re gutted”.

UPDATE“The cause of death to be multiple traumatic injuries due to a fall from a height. Emergency services were called at 5.55pm to the underpass between Ovingdean and Rottingdean after a young male was found by two passers by. He had injuries consistent with falling from a great height”.
