“Scott texted her assistant at 8:30 a.m. and asked that she come over, police sources said. When she arrived, she found the body and called 911. Police did not suspect foul play, a source said, but the Medical Examiner’s Office will determine a cause of death. No suicide note was found”.

“The Rolling Stones are deeply sorry and disappointed to announce the postponement of the rest of their 14 ON FIRE tour of Australia and New Zealand following the death of L’Wren Scott. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood wish to thank all of their fans for their support at this difficult time and hope that they will fully understand the reason for this announcement. The Rolling Stones are planning to reschedule these postponed shows at a later date”.

“I am still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way. We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves. She had great presence and her talent was much admired, not least by me. I have been touched by the tributes that people have paid to her, and also the personal messages of support that I have received. I will never forget her,
 Mick”.

“Georgia May Jagger, the daughter of Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall, has cancelled her fashion show in Melbourne this weekend and flown to New York to be with family following the death of her father’s girlfriend L’Wren Scott”.

Keith Richards:

“No-one saw this coming…Mick’s always been my soul brother and we love him…we’re thick as thieves and we’re all feeling for the man…we really hate to disappoint our fans but we’ll see everyone really soon.”

Charlie Watts:
“Needless to say we are all completely shocked but our first thought is to support Mick at this awful time. We intend to come back to Australia and New Zealand as soon as it proves possible.”

Ronnie Wood:

“This is such terrible news and right now the important thing is that we are all pulling together to offer Mick our support and help him through this sad time. Without a doubt we intend to be back out on that stage as soon as we can.”
