Grammy Awards: i vincitori (e le polemiche…)

26 gennaio. A Los Angeles è andata in scena l’attesissima edizione numero 56 dei Grammy Awards. Tutte le attenzioni erano rivolte alle esibizioni, agli ospiti, ai ritorni eccellenti. Dai Daft Punk con Stevie Wonder, Pharrell e Nile Rodgers (impegnati in un pazzesco medley di ‘Get Lucky’, ‘Le Freak’ e ‘Another Star’ di Wonder – guarda) alla “reunion” tra Paul McCartney e Ringo Starr (hanno eseguito ‘Queenie Eye’ – guarda), dai Metallica assieme al compositore/pianista cinese Lang Lang (guarda) a Kendrick Lamar con gli Imagine Dragons, da Beyoncé al fianco di Jay-Z (‘Drunk In Love’ – guarda) a Lorde (‘Royals’ – guarda), fino alla performance che ha visto tutti assieme appassionatamente Dave Grohl, Josh Homme, Nine Inch Nails e Lindsey Buckingham (guarda). Per il supergruppo ‘Copy Of A’ dei NIN e di seguito attaccata ‘My God Is The Sun’ dei QOTSA che viene brutalmente tagliata dai titoli di coda. Su Twitter Trent Reznor si sfoga così: “Music’s biggest night… to be disrespected. A heartfelt FUCK YOU guys”. Come se non bastasse si aggiunge un’altra bega. Durante il ricordo (“In Memoriam”) degli artisti scomparsi nel 2013 viene dimenticato Jeff Hanneman (Slayer). I fan sono in rivolta. Noi no.
