Drive: soundtrack "rinnovata"


L’idea è venuta a Zane Lowe (BBC Radio 1) che ha ricevuto l’OK del regista Nicolas Winding Refn. L’idea di “rinnovare” la fortunata colonna sonora del 2011 del film di culto “Drive”. La nuova soundtrack – che verrà messa in onda il 30 ottobre su BBC 3 a partire dalle 22 – prevede contributi anche di Banks, Baauer, Jon Hopkins, SBTRKT, The 1975, Bastille, Bring Me The Horizon, Eric Prydz, Foals, Laura Mvula, The Neighbourhood e CHVRCHES. Quest’ultimi presentano l’inedito ‘Get Away’ che viene così introdotto da Lauren Mayberry: “We were really excited because musically, the kind of music in the original score fits in with what we are doing”. Zane Lowe dichiara: “Honestly, this is the most exciting thing that this show has ever been involved in. It’s the most ambitious, awesome thing we’ve ever done. We’ve been working on it all year and we’re super-proud of it you don’t want to miss this!”Nicolas Winding Refn invece aggiunge: “I consider it a great honour that my movie Drive inspired so many wonderful artists to come together and create one ultra-cool glam experience”.
